Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
We want you to love your DAX Eyewear — but if something’s not quite right, we’ve got your back. Here’s how our return and exchange process works.
Return & Exchange Window
You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return or exchange.
Sunglasses must be unworn and in like-new condition. You’re welcome to try them on, but once they’ve been used (think: scratched, stretched, or worn outside), we can’t accept them.
What’s Eligible
- Sunglasses: Can be returned or exchanged if unused
- Prescription lenses: Final sale unless there’s a craftsmanship issue
We prefer items to be returned in their original packaging, but it’s not required.
Exchanges
- We allow one exchange per item
- You pay to ship the original item back
- We cover the cost of shipping your new pair
Want to swap styles or sizes? No problem. Just submit your request through our return portal or send us an email.
Refunds
- Refunds go to your original payment method (Shopify handles the processing)
- If you purchased from a boutique or retail store, we can offer store credit or an exchange
- No restocking fees
- Refunds are typically issued within 24–48 hours of receiving your return (excluding weekends)
Return Shipping
Customers cover return shipping unless otherwise noted or discussed with our customer service department.
Shipping Address for Returns
Our returns are currently handled manually — if you’re emailing us for a return, we’ll provide the return address directly.

Proof of Purchase
Please provide your order number and email address. If you don’t have those handy, we can usually look up your order by name.

1-Year Limited Warranty
We get it — life happens. That’s why every pair of DAX Eyewear is backed by our Risk-Free Guarantee:
If your sunglasses are lost, broken, or stolen within 1 year of purchase, we’ll replace them — no hassle, no drama.
What’s Covered
Our 1-Year Risk-Free Guarantee includes:
- Accidental damage (scratches, cracks, breaks)
- Lost or stolen sunglasses
- Manufacturer defects (hinges, lenses, nose pieces, etc.)
What’s Not Covered
We want to take care of you — but there are a few fair-use limits:
- Style swaps - See our Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges Policy to initiate an exchange
- More than one replacement per item
- Orders outside the U.S.
This is a one-time replacement per item and does not extend to repeat claims unless the issue is a manufacturing defect.
How to File a Claim
Just send us an email at hello@daxeyewear.com with the following:
- Your order number (or the boutique name if you purchased in-store)
- A short description of what happened
- A photo of the sunglasses (if you still have them)
Don’t have a receipt? No problem — we’ll do our best to verify your purchase based on the style and boutique name.
Replacements & Refunds
- We’ll send you a free replacement for anything covered under this warranty
- If you’re simply not happy with your unused sunglasses, you can request a refund instead
Costs & Returns
- No restocking or processing fees
- You only pay return shipping if we need the item back — most of the time, we don’t
